Ann Lawlor's Achievements as Halton Hills Mayor

Ann Lawlor was first elected as a Ward 4 representative to Council in 2010 and served three terms before winning election as Mayor of Halton Hills in 2022.

Before taking public office, Ann's career included 10 years as an account executive in a family-owned marketing company; five years as director of a social service agency; and three years managing her own consulting business.

Ann believes in thinking globally while acting locally. She sees opportunities and brings people together to make a difference.

Ann knows from experience that big things can happen in small towns!

Ann's long-time passion for effective government is grounded in a master's degree in public administration.

Environment

Environmental action and greening our town as founding Chair, Trees for Halton Hills.
Imagining and mobilizing volunteers to plan a spectacular public garden as a charter member, Friends of the Old Seed House Garden.
Supporting a healthy natural environment as an executive board member, Credit Valley Conservation Authority.
